My name is Clara, and I'm the founder of Clara's Cakes LLC, a cottage industry custom cake and cupcake bakery based in Columbus, Ohio.

I love decorating. I found my passion for baking and cake decorating in 2018. However, that desire has always been within as both my parents share a love for baking. My spark for baking and interest in decorating began during my childhood when my family and I would spend hours in the kitchen baking in preparation for holidays and family celebrations.

Today, that spark has turned into a blaze that has inspired me to start a business doing what I love. My favorite part about the entire process is when my customers see their order for the first time. Their excitement brings me joy and is an integral part of why I’m so passionate about my business.
